The Audit Trail tracks actions performed in the system.
For each event, you will know who did it, when they did it,
and what they did. To view events:
- Click BROWSE EVENTS
- View the Events
- Click [?] to see further details
Some of the displayed results will have a blue question mark [?] next to them that will link to the original item (Transaction, Member, etc.) that caused an event to be recorded.
Here is a description of the types of things that are recorded in the Audit Trail:
- Transaction - Every transaction executed on the system is automatically logged in the Audit Trail. All transactions are time stamped and the person or entity who executed the transaction is recorded. Clicking the '?' will take you to the transaction detail screen.
- Member - Every Member that joins a site on the system is automatically logged. Clicking the '?' will take you to the member information screen.
- Account - Any changes to the account itself is logged in the system. Events involving the Account may include such things as changing the fraud controls, email templates, and login and passwords into the system. Clicking the '?' will take you to the relevant page. For example, clicking the '?' next to a login event will take you to the login page.
- Batch - The Audit Trail will note when the batch was closed and any other events of note surrounding the batch. Clicking the '?' will take you to the batch report screen for that batch.
- Invoice - Events surrounding Invoices, such as when they were created or sent via email are recorded. Clicking the '?' will take you to the invoice.
- Rebilling - Every member in the system set to automatically rebill is logged in the system. When this rebilling executes it is recorded in the Audit Trail. Clicking the '?' on a failed rebilling or checkpoint will take you to the member information screen. Clicking the '?' on a successful rebilling will take you to the transaction detail screen.
- Site - Every change to the site's settings are recorded and time stamped in the Audit Trail. Clicking the '?' will take you to the site configuration screen for that site.
- Login - Every Login into the system is recorded in the Audit Trail. The login name is recorded, the login is time stamped, and the IP of the user is captured for later reference. Clicking the '?' will take you to the user login configuration screen.
